Why not visit a unique museum while staying in Henderson? The destination and its surrounding areas within the Las Vegas Valley, are home to a variety of museums. From historic exhibits, to science and aviation, these attractions are very educational, unusual, interesting and worth a visit.



Clark County Heritage Museum
1830 South Boulder Highway, Henderson 
Explore this unique and historic museum, learning about the rich and colorful history of Las Vegas and its surrounding communities. Throughout the museum are interactive displays and iconic points of interests including the 1931 Boulder City train depot and a ghost town complete with a blacksmith, jail and general store.  



Nevada Vintage Race Car Museum
250 Sun Pac Avenue, Henderson
Stop by this museum and browse 16 vintage race cars that are on display, including two "Indy Racing League" cars, as well as numerous World War II model planes. Upon entering the exhibit, you will also find a restored C-119 "Flying Boxcar."



Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum

Following a tour of the historic Hoover Dam, browse the museum, complete with historical artifacts relating to the workers and construction of Hoover Dam. Learn the details of what it took to create this colossal structure.



Nevada State Railroad Museum

If you’re a fan of old railroads, then this is the place for you. The museum houses railroad artifacts and memorabilia. Hop aboard the historic Nevada Southern Railway, as it travels on the original track used to bring supplies to the Hoover Dam.

The Atomic Testing Museum
