September 02, 2010 RICKY NELSON REMEMBERED AND TRENT TOMLINSON HEADLINE CONCERTS AT SUPER RUN CLASSIC CAR SHOW Ricky Nelson Remembered starring the rock icon’s sons, Matthew & Gunnar Nelson, and rising country music star, Trent Tomlinson, will headline this year’s entertainment at the 11th annual Super Run Classic Car Show. Ricky Nelson Remembered will be performed on Friday, September 24 and Trent Tomlinson will take the stage Saturday, September 25. August 12, 2010 CITY OF HENDERSON ANNOUNCES GENERAL HOSPITAL STAR TO PLAY “MACBETH” The City of Henderson is pleased to announce Ken Lally, best known for his roles in General Hospital and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, as the latest addition to the cast of Macbeth for the Shakespeare in the Park series in October. Lally will play the leading role of “King Macbeth” for a four-performance tour featuring the Las Vegas Shakespeare Company, beginning October 2 at River Mountain Park, 1941 Appaloosa Drive.

August 11, 2010 CITY OF HENDERSON ANNOUNCES FALL SEASON 2010 CONCERTS AT THE HENDERSON PAVILION The fall 2010 concert season at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 South Green Valley Parkway, includes an array of music genres from 80s to 90s pop and R&B, to Irish flare, as well as popular tunes heard today on Nickelodeon. The featured performing acts include country music entertainer, Gary Morris; Hawaii’s premier musician and hula dancer, Keola & Moana Beamer; and blues master, W.C. Clark. July 29, 2010 CITY OF HENDERSON HOSTS SUPER RUN CLASSIC CAR SHOW, SEPTEMBER 23-26 The Water Street District in Henderson will come alive with the roar of 1,000 classic cars, trucks and motorcycles for the 11th annual Super Run Classic Car Show, September 23-26. Over 100,000 people are expected to attend the four-day event which includes slow drags, roaring engines and burnout competitions, as well as automotive vendors and weekend concerts. July 15, 2010 CITY OF HENDERSON BRINGS SHAKESPEARE’S MACBETH TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU For the first time in over 20 years, the City of Henderson is taking its Shakespeare in the Park series on the road in October with productions of one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, Macbeth, featuring the Las Vegas Shakespeare Company. Additionally, race organizer’s partnered with Loews Lake Las Vegas, securing the resort as the official host hotel for the event.

June 02, 2010 CITY OF HENDERSON CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY The City of Henderson’s Fourth of July celebration will be a star-spangled evening with a variety of family-friendly events, live entertainment and a fabulous fireworks show on Sunday, July 4 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Basic High School football field, 400 N. April 16, 2010 PACIFIC CAPITAL MANAGEMENT ACQUIRES RESORT LODGING OPERATIONS OF MONTELAGO VILLAGE RESORT IN HENDERSON, NEVADA Pacific Capital Management, on behalf of Signal Butte Investors LLC., has acquired resort lodging operations of MonteLago Village Resort from Intrawest Hospitality Management. Pacific Capital Management has brought in Aston Hotels & Resorts LLC. to run resort operations for the three acre waterfront parcel. Signal Butte Investors LLC. has successfully owned and operated the shopping and dining element at Lake Las Vegas known as The Village since June 2007.

March 17, 2010 OPEN CALL FOR AUDITIONS – ROBINSON CRUSOE The Missoula Children’s Theatre announces open auditions for the upcoming production of Robinson Crusoe. Auditions will take place at two different locations on two separate dates: April 12 at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water Street, and April 19 at Robert Taylor Elementary School, 144 Westminster Way.
